About Me
I am a Sussex-based photographer with a background in international press photography, now drawn increasingly to landscapes, weather, wildlife and the quiet drama of the South Downs and coast. My work is shaped by a long-standing fascination with light, atmosphere and the brief moments when ordinary places become something more cinematic. Alongside local landscape and nature photography, I also photograph storms, events and unusual scenes with a documentary eye. Whether it’s a shelf cloud over the plains, a misty morning on the Downs or a fleeting moment of wildlife, I’m interested in images that carry a sense of place, weather and story. Inexplicably won International Nature Photographer of the Year 2025 at the Australian Photographic Prize for The Morton Tornado image.
